The Seagull

In a fresh adaptation of Chekhov’s classic play, Irene, a successful actress, returns home from Toronto to visit her son, Konstantine, a budding playwright trying to make a name for himself in Newfoundland. Irene is accompanied by Alex Trigorin, an internationally famous novelist. Nina, a budding actress and Konstantine's girlfriend, falls for Trigorin and follows him to Toronto. Meanwhile Konstantine struggles to define himself as an artist in his own right despite his mother's indifference and his broken heart.
