Rental Fees


EFFECTIVE September 1, 2016

All fees are subject to 15% HST

 

Main Stage Rental Fee - Performances

Includes main stage, house, dressing rooms, stage door area, technical supervisor, maintenance/janitorial services, loading dock, and basic house audio & lighting equipment.

Performance day rentals also include: public areas and free parking.

A non-refundable deposit may be requested.

 

Performances & Rehearsals

Main Theatre Performance:

Commercial (for profit) performance - $500 vs 10% per performance (Sunday – Thursday)

Commercial (for profit) performance - $600 vs 10% per performance (Friday – Saturday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) performance - $250 vs 5% per performance (Sunday – Thursday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) performance - $300 vs 5% per performance (Friday – Saturday)

*The percentage charges are capped (maximum charge) at twice the basic rental fee

 

Main Theatre Rehearsal/Other Usage:

Commercial (for profit) rehearsal - $250

Non Commercial (not for profit) rehearsal - $125

 

Alternate Theatre:

Commercial (for profit) performance - $250 (Sunday – Thursday)

Commercial (for profit) performance - $300 (Friday – Saturday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) performance - $125 (Sunday – Thursday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) performance - $150 (Friday – Saturday)

 

Theatre Rental per Recital:

Non Commercial (not for profit) - $125 (Sunday – Thursday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) - $150 (Friday – Saturday)

 

Hold Date Fee:

Commercial - $250 (Sunday – Thursday)

Commercial - $300 (Friday – Saturday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) - $125 (Sunday – Thursday)

Non Commercial (not for profit) - $150 (Friday – Saturday)

 

Box Office Services

Box Office Services (Main Theatre) - $65 per performance

Box Office Services (Alternate Theatre) - $35 per performance

Ticket production - $0.65 per ticket produced

Box Office service (offsite) – 10% value of tickets sold, net of taxes

Tickets not distributed by the Box Office - $55.00 per set

 

Other Services

Ushering - $12.50/hour/person

Head Usher - $24.00 per hour

Sound, Light & Stage Technicians - $27.00 /hour

Stage hands - $20.00/hour

** Labour charges for performances on Public Holidays are subject to a 50% surcharge. 

NOTE: All percentages are calculated on the total ticket sales, net of taxes, except where otherwise indicated; versus (vs) indicates whichever is the greater amount.

Merchandise/Concession Sales - Staff required - 10% gross receipts

SOCAN fees – Tariff 4A (popular music) - $35.00 vs 3% of the value of tickets sold, net of taxes (* Subject to Copyright Board changes)

Tariff 4B (classical music) - $35.00 vs 1.56% of the value of tickets sold, net of taxes (* Subject to Copyright Board changes)

 

Conventions & Convocations

Main Theatre - Commercial - $300 per session/$600 per day plus staff costs

Non-commercial - $150 per session/$300 per day plus staff costs

Concourse – Commercial - $200 per session/$400 per day

Non-Commercial - $150 per session/$200 per day

Concourse per display booth/day – Commercial - $50 

Non-Commercial - $25

Concourse Electrical Installation – Commercial - $25 day/booth

Non-Commercial - $25 day/booth

 

Meetings/Receptions

Meeting Rooms - $25 per session/$50 per day

Green Room - $35 per session/$70 per day

Gallery - $50 per session/$100 per day
