The Graham Academy presents a fabulous double bill:
June 2 & 3 at 7:00 PM
The first season of the Graham Academy will conclude with two one act musicals for the entire family to enjoy.
The night will feature the direction of Ian Locke, choreography of Candice Barry, and musical direction by Jennifer Stratton-Renouf.
The first act will be A Year with Frog & Toad KIDS: Music by Robert Reale, lyrics and story by Willie Reale, based on the beloved children's series written by Arnold Lobel. The show tells the story of two unlikely friends: the cheerul Frog and the very nervous Toad, as they travel through the adventures of one year, learning many important life lessons along the way. This show tells the story of true friendship, and reminds us that what makes us different also makes us special. It's a show that can remind parents of these classic stories, while introducing these treasured characters to a new generation.
The second act will be an original twist on a fairy tale written by David Maggs. Jack & The Queenstalk tells the classic tale of Jack and the giant, featuring hits by Queen, such as Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You. This show will be a rocking romp of a pantomime. Parents can introduce their children to the band that they grew up with in an accessible story, performed to energize the entire family.
This event is not to be missed, and will showcase the talent of youth in Corner Brook.
