Performance Information
Revue '12

It started in 1984 as a three-night show, a commentary on the events of the previous year and a way to give  Newfoundlanders a collective sense of who we are and how our great sense of humour keeps us sane. Now after almost thirty seasons, Revue continues to fill the province's Arts and Culture Centres and beyond.

Here's a sneak preview of just a couple of the stories the Revue crowd are following this year.

Kathy dates Harper on top of the falls but alas it is all over in 40 minutes! Did she get the pre-nup or was it just a loan guarantee? Muskrat Falls is debated in the House but there are no numbers to be found, though we did dig up Richard Cashin and Des Sullivan while on the hunt for the power rates.

Moose everywhere, wasps everywhere, sharks attacking fishermen and out in central the place is gone to the bears.

Penashue makes a return engagement - he can fly in free for his guest spot.

Our endangered species list this year includes rural schools.  A kindergarten kid on a bus in winter for 2 hours without bathroom - you have got to be kidding.

Kathy says Tory times are Historical Times not hard times - well, we are going to go back and have a look.

Stay tuned for more to come, and if you have a favourite event from 2012, send it along!
